With the high humidity, sweltering heat and heavy rainfall dominating the weather, it’s best to avoid visiting Hanoi during this time of year and instead wait for the upcoming fall months.

If you do decide to visit Hanoi in July, be sure to wear light, sweat-absorbent clothing when outdoors. As July receives the most direct sunlight compared to any other month, it’s best to always use sun protection, including sunscreen, sun hats, and sunglasses.

As rainfall continually increases, rain gear is essential when visiting Hanoi during this time of year as storms can be frequent, unexpected and can last for a long time.
